Rev. Fr. Dionisio Nellas, SVD, Parish Priest of the St. Augustine Catholic Church at Asesewa in the Koforidua Diocese, recently commissioned a set of Committees to help plan and execute the Church’s programme of activities for the next one year.
The Committees are on Education; Youth and Vocations; Justice, Peace and Ecology; Welfare; Marriage, Counselling and Family Life; Liturgy; Finance; Land, Development and Projects; Logistics; and Interpreters.
Fr. Nellas admonished members to see their membership of the Committees as a call from God, urging them to serve diligently and collaboratively to ensure a successful accomplishment of the Church’s action plan for the year.
The Chairman of the Church Pastoral Council, Mr. Henry Asare, commended members of the Committees for responding positively to the call to serve and prayed that God would guide them throughout their period of service.
